WHO GOES TO THE MATCHMAKER?
The majority of our members are successful professionals who want a confidential, safe, and personal (not internet-based) service to assist them in finding the person who will be their a potential life partner.  Seemingly most members – because of a busy and challenging life – have been unable to find the person with whom they would like to share their life. 

IS IT SAFE?
We make every effort to make our services as safe as possible.  All members of our service have been interviewed in person and have had a Maine State criminal background check.  We also reserve the right to terminate a membership if necessary.

SHOULD I BE EMBARRASSED TO CALL A MATCHMAKER?  AREN’T I GOOD ENOUGH TO FIND A PERSON TO LIVE MY LIFE WITH?
You are definitely good enough to find a match!  And, you are absolutely in the right place.  You are taking  control of the most important thing in your life and you should not be embarrassed to seek a matchmaker.  In fact, in larger Northeast cities, matchmaking has become a way of life for the most successful people who have decided that they are far more likely to meet a person who wants to meet them through a confidential matchmaker.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The service relationship starts with an in-depth interview which usually lasts one to one and a half hours.  Many questions will be asked of you to understand who you are, what is most important to you, and about your hopes for an ideal relationship.  Our discussion will serve as the basis for the development of your individual Matchmaker profile.  At the conclusion of the interview, you will be asked to complete a personality style indicator.  All of the information will assist us in our ability to provide you with a compatible match.  Using both the interview and the personality style indicator, we will begin our work to appropriately match you with another one of our members.

HOW WILL MY MATCH BE ARRANGED?
Based on our professional approach, we will match you with a person who we feel will be most compatible.  To do so, we will send each of you an individual Matchmaker profile which includes critical information about the person (with first name only -- no phone numbers, addresses, or other confidential information will be shared at this time).  Once both of you have agreed to the match, you will arrange your first meeting. 

WHAT IF THE MATCH IS NOT COMPATIBLE?
We’ll ask you to give any of the matches a chance to see if compatibility is present.  If either one or both of you feels that the match is not compatible, we will work toward finding another compatible match for you. 

WHAT OTHER SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE?
Once you’ve completed the personality style indicator, we will send you information describing your preferences.  Understanding of, and information about, the personality style indicator is very useful not only in relationships, but also in the workplace where it is often used to develop managers and team. A few times per year, we will collaborate with local businesses to provided singles nights where you would have an opportunity to meet Matchmaker clients and other singles.
